About The Coker Museum

The Coker Museum at 1309 Chestnut Street in Chattanooga's Historic Southside is home to Corky Coker's personal collection of vintage vehicles. It shares space with the historic Honest Charley Speed Shop in a vibrant, 13,000+ square foot setting.

Corky grew up in the family business where his father Harold founded Coker Tire Company in 1958. Corky expanded it globally while building his collection of restored classics, starting young and growing it during his time leading the company.

The collection evolved naturally: vehicles first displayed in the shop, then overflow spaces. After acquiring Honest Charley Speed Shop (founded by SEMA Hall of Fame inductee Honest Charley Card), Corky consolidated everything here in 2018 following the sale of Coker Tire.

Today, explore over 100 vintage vehicles, classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, trucks, buses, race cars, delivery vehicles, and even airplanes hanging overhead, plus rare engines, memorabilia, and interactive QR-code videos sharing stories and history. The neon-lit displays create a nostalgic, immersive experience.

Self-guided tours take about an hour.

It's family-friendly for enthusiasts and casual visitors alike, and the space doubles as a unique venue for weddings, corporate events, parties, and gatherings.
